Greyhound Bus

I’m 18 a single mother (just throwing that in there so you realize how young I am) And I was wondering what your experiences were riding a Greyhound Bus? I live in Alabama and am in the process of planning a trip with my 2 year old to visit some family in Jacksonville Florida. I have NEVER went on a trip like this by myself before let alone with my son so I’m pretty nervous about it.

I was also wondering what kind of things I should pack for the ride there as it is an almost 10 hour ride, should I pack mace just in case or something?
