Solving yeast infections from inside

I get a mild case of thrush about a week before, and then again immediately after, my period. Every month. I thought it may be a hormone or pH imbalance but someone recently suggested that my Candida may be off. Anyone know anything about this?

I also have fungal toe nails that nothing seems to fix so I’m wondering if the two are related.
