Do you feed your kids junk food?

With diet related diseases being the top killers in America and billions of dollars going into treating obesity each year, I don't understand how parents can feed their kids poison. I really feel for the families that don't have the time/money to eat healthy, but for those who do, I see no excuse and I can't help but judge

Who are you to tell me how to feed my childern or my family?  Do you support my family?  Do You buy my childern food or clothes? Do you pay my bills?  Ummm no. So therefore you have no right to tell me how I should or should not feed my childern. Worry about your family.

My kids get a snack every day sometimes twice a day and they still eat a home cooked meal my kids aren't obese or un healthy so I will not make em eat healthy snacks all the time

Lol of course I do. And I know you do too... unless you're truly one of those weird people who NEVER give her kids a piece of candy or a donut occasionally. We don't eat like crap often. But I don't deprive my child of normal things. She also eats cake for her birthday breakfast of she chooses to do so. ;) Bad, BAD mama here!! I get being healthy but poisoning someone to me literally means I fed them cyanide. There's not much that a tiny, active child can't burn off.

Little to no processed food in my house. For snacks he has peanuts, Greek yogurt, strawberries, blueberries, raisins, etc. I can honestly say I have never taken my child to McDonald's. I am truly proud of him. He loves broccoli, asparagus, and grilled chicken breast. He eats everything mommy and daddy eat 😃

I feed my daughter healthy and drill it into everyone's head how important it is for her to eat healthy. Unfortunately, my MIL has a different outlook on eating healthy and gives my daughter junk food and fast food. I've told her time and time again that I don't want her eating that crap and I still catch her feeding her stuff I don't want her having. It is so frustrating! My husband did not grow up eating healthy and has had difficulties with his weight and was borderline diabetic. Thankfully he is now healthy and we all eat healthy as a family. His nephew is 21 and weighs over 300lbs because all they eat is junk (he's been obese since age 6). It's awful and I blame his parents and grandparents.

Of course I do, judge me all you want, I'm a stay at home mom but our budget gets tight and healthy food is expensive! They eat Mac and cheese, hot dogs, pb&j, bologna, etc. They are kids, I do make dinner every night but when it comes to breakfast and lunch they get something quick. I also have my nephew during the week from 8am-4pm so that's an extra mouth to feed. My kids are not overweight despite getting cookies every day I'd they eat all their done, my 6 year old is about 4'6" and weighs 67lbs...he's tall and skinny. My 4 year old is 4'1" and weighs 49lbs. They are skinny and healthy little boys, they drink lots of milk and water, and I let them eat"junk food". And despite having access to cookies, the still choose a banana over cookies when we have them! So in my opinion, the kind of food they eat is not the problem, it's how often they play. And my nephew is 5 years old, about 4'9" and weighs over 80lbs...he's a chunk, but the only time he plays is when he's here. At home he plays video games all day. That's his mother's issue, not mine, we don't have video games!!

I always cook a well balanced lunch and dinner. Breakfast my son either has eggs & bacon or oatmeal. The only "junk" food he gets is usually when he's at my parents house because they spoil him and my dad says ita his house so his rules lol.. Oh and after dinner if he ate well he gets a popsicle. But I try to limit the amount of junk or processed foods. We buy a lot of organic but we aren't perfect and we will still make mac n cheese every once in awhile. Yes we have chips, chocolate, and pop tarts in the cupboard but I hide them and only give my son a little if he wants it. I try to feed him healthy foods but I also don't want to over do it because then when he gets a little older and goes to school he will crave soda or junk food because he never gets it at home. So I've been trying to find a balance. And for us this works. We also do yoga at night or go on a jog when my husband gets home from work. So we try to stay active as well. Mainly because my son is so full of energy I have to get out and let him run it off. Lol.
