Me and my husband are divorced with two kids, got back together and now are separated all over a 6 year time frame. We are separated and currently living together because this is the house we both bought together. We sleep In Different rooms. Nothing new to the kids because he use to work night shift and also never wanted to wake the baby up when his shift changed cause then it was always hell to put her back to sleep.... anyways we are still great friends and respect each others boundaries. But yes every once in a while we both would have sex. We see it as We both have sexual needs that need to be met but are not ready to meet those sexual needs with another person. and we all know sex way better then masterbation. We both have the understanding that there is a possibility and I took it hard and first because being a woman sexual is emotional and pleasureful. But then I was thinking that if we are meant to be then we will be. If not there’s no reason to cause drama when we both know we may find someone else in the future, when that time comes we will go our separate ways and respectfully tell each other to keep the peace. He’s has always been my night and shinning armor saving me 10 years ago from an abusive relationship, we were partners patrolling the street and for a year then became inseparable. He’s still a cop and I changed careers and became a nurse. So yes we are divorced back together and separated again. Living together and occasionally having sex. But we are happy in this spot will the understanding of about our future. We may not be together but we are best friends for life. And yes we are divorced because of some situation that I’d rather not talk about. It’s possible your mind just needs to be right.
