I was 40 weeks and 6 days overdue

My induction was scheduled for Monday @ 5:00 pm I arrived at the hospital at 4:57 pm the doctors took me into my private room and started monitoring my baby's heart and if I had contractions. Then she hooked me to an iv laTed that dat at 7 my othe nurse came in she came to check me until 10 to see how many centimeters dilated I was 2 centimeters already and she decided to put prostaglandin to help me dilate more and soften my cervix at 11:03pm I started getting cramps later at 11:30 they turned into contractions I was verey lucky because the doctor said that prostaglandin sometimes it doesn't work and they would have to put me another method to induce me. At 1:30 my contractions were really hard they put medicine to reduce pain through the iv and it did later contractions were harder and harder my husband told me to get an epidural so I did they came in and they started the epidural prices when they did that I was 31/2 dilated the epidural process was 30 mins long. So 3:00 pm came and epidural started working but i has already passed the whole pain at 3:26 am she arrived 7puobds 11 ounces 21 inches Sofia Elizabeth thanks to God this delivery I had was fast 5 hours and 26 mins I didn't even have to push she slipped out all by herself
