Birthday parties are over rated.

Sooo my kids are turning 3 this month and next month. Stepson turns 3 in a couple weeks, daughter turns 3 at the end of August. We have decided that we aren’t going to do a big party for them since they are not going to remember it later on anyway, and we would have to entertain more kids than just our 2 if we did a party. Not to mention, they are getting parties from their other parents. So we have been trying to figure out what we can do with them. We talked about taking them to the zoo but it’s hot and we don’t wanna have them get totally over heated and worn out before we can see all the animals. There isn’t a lot to do around here for small children either. Anyone have any ideas???
