So three days ago we found out I was pregnant from a home test & ecstatic doesn’t even describe how we felt. We have a 5 year old so a new baby was exciting for all of us. Then last night happened. I passed what looked to be bloody discharge. It was only tinged so I didn’t worry too much. When I woke up this morning I was heavily bleeding and called my OB right away. She instructed me to go to the ER so I did. No sac was seen on the ultrasound and my HCG is only an 8. The doctor said this is most likely a miscarriage and to come back in two days to repeat labs. I’m so devastated and want to crawl in a hole. Has this happened to anyone and still have a good outcome. I don’t want to hold out hope and be crushed so I’m trying to be realistic but boy is it hard.
