Gestational diabetes
Ok so I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes in my first pregnancy with my son at 12 weeks. I was able to completely manage it with diet only. I had a healthy baby boy weighing 9 lbs 3 oz and 22 in long via schedule cesarean.
So fastforward to to this pregnancy and my dr was concerned and wanted me tested again at 12 weeks. I took my 3 hour test on monday. Got the results today.... I passed all 4 blood draws!!! No gestational diabetes!!! At least not now! I will have to be tested again at 28 weeks, but I am so excited!!! Yay for good news!
Has anyone had gestational diabetes in one pregnancy and not in another? And what did you have? Is there a correlation between gestational diabetes and the sex of the baby? Just wondering!! So excited today!!
