I’m so confused!

So I’m 4 days late I planned on taking a test tomorrow, but yesterday I started having light brown spotting, Then to day it got darker and a tad bit heavier, and now it’s red but not filling a pad at all, and there is no clots? Could I be pregnant? Has this ever happen to y’all? My periods never late and I’ve never had this brown stuff happen so I’m a little worried?
