Could i have listeria?

Question

Stupidly & out of hunger ate a deli sandwich yesterday & felt fine after , but woke up this morning with gas & diarrhea. Looked up symptoms of listeria & diarrhea is one ! Now im worried . Do u think i could have it? Im thinking of calling my nurse in the morning (forgot to add that i am currently 8 weeks pregnant)
Also forgot to add , i did eat pizza lastnight as well & about 10 mins after i was done i started having an upset stomach but never felt the urge to use tge bathroom so i never pooped afterwards until this morning. So im thinking it could have also been from the pizza

i think your okay! never google your symptoms! itll probably try tell you, you've got cancer or something.. go to your doctor if you're worried though😊

I doubt that it is listeria. I would get diarrhea on and off during my pregnancy all the time. I also ate deli sandwiches throughout and never worried about listeria. The risk of getting listeria is very low.

If the diarrhea is really bad I would call your doctor, if it's food poisoning or anything similar you don't want to get too dehydrated. I think listeria would be a worst case scenario, definitely don't google symptoms everything seems worse than it is with Google!
