Over it!!! 39 weeks !!!

A little background story.. at the beginning of pregnancy I had to sac but only one fetal pole with possible heart beat. I had lots of blood work and ultrasounds. We ended up with one strong heart beat and the other vanished ( vanishing twin they call it) because of all of this and history of preterm labor the gave me progesterone to strength my uterus..

Fast forward to about 24 to 26 week pregnant. I start preterm labor I am put on bed rest and given procardia. We need baby girl to stay in until full term right. Now it’s 32 weeks even with taking procardia I still get contractions so we start going every week to dr. Appts plus every other week for biophysical scans do to a short cervix..

We make 36 week and we have a cervix Check and only have 1cm of dilation

( with my previous babies I had preterm labor and went 4almost 5 cm since 28 week until delivery date)

We are happy baby is still cooking!!!!

Present time!! Am 39 weeks which is good for baby but I am anxious!! I’ve never been pregnant this long, and I feel we did so much to get her stay in she doesn’t want to come out.

Last Friday I had contractions all weekend got sent home from L&D; because I would not dilated more than the 3 I was when i arrived. Went in on Monday for a quick follow up and I was still 3 so NP stretched my cervix to see if maybe it will help dilated. Yesterday Thursday was my regular appointment and she did a membrane sweep and set me up for induction next Thursday. With the sweep I contracted all day and about 9pm the went away 😢😢😢😢. I can’t sleep my body hurt am tired and at this point I think I’ll give up on the contractions am not getting my hope up if I start contracting am just going to rest and get ready for the induction date. 😢☹️😭
