My husband and I waited to get a baby monitor thinking our daughter would be sleeping in our room a while so we wouldn’t need one.

Well, my husband only took two days off of work so I felt bad waking him having the baby in there so her and I went to her room. I sleep on an air mattress and she sleeps in the crib.

She is now about to be 8 weeks old and yesterday the Wi-Fi video monitor came in the mail.

I want to sleep in my own bed- with my husband, but I have all of the what if’s.... the monitor goes through my phone- what if my phone dies- what if the wi-fi goes out- what if she needs me and I don’t hear her.

Any tips, reassurances, or advices is appreciated- I don’t know how I’m going to leave her with a sitter when I work... I can’t even let her sleep in the next room without me 💔
