did you have super light periods on nexplanon?

i think i got my period, but it’s SUPER light. i just got nexplanon this month so this is my first period with it, and my period used to be beyond heavy (like bleeding through maxi pads) and now it’s my first official day and it’s light enough to wear a super thin pad. is this normal? did it happen to you?

I had light spotting for the first 2 months while on Nexplanon which would last 2 weeks. Recently I’ve been having standard bleeding like a normal period but it’s been I’d be having that bleeding for a few days then a week off and then bleeding again. I’ve just finished my second round of this normal period bleeding and I’m wondering will it start again after a week has passed. 
I’m hoping that eventually my periods will stop or start to become more regular

I did for the first 3 months. Then it went back to what it was prior to the implant.
