I guess I just wanted to out a gentle warning as my own experience taught me to be cautious. in April I found out I was pregnant I didn't feel well I was dizzy and felt very nauseous. So after I finished work on a Wednesday at around 1pm I went a brought a pregnancy test and took it at home, it was positive I was shocked after a year of trying. the next day I made a doctor appointment for Friday and I took another test ( I had brought a three pack) and it was still positive but the line was more faint. the next day I took another test and that one was even fainter and I went to the doctor she did a test in the afternoon and it was barely there. she said I could just be early and hcg could still be rising. the next morning I woke up and I was all wet I turned on the light and was shocked to find it was blood! I was bleeding heavily and went to the emergency room where a blood test and a scan. the scan revealed an 11 to 12 week Festus with no heart beat and my hcg level was a very low 4. I naturally miscarried. now for the warning part...if u get a positive and it fades over the next few days just be cautiously optimistic as it can mean your hcg is dropping due to miscarriage. in my excitement I didn't really think about that. I found out late as I still spotted around my normal period times so I didnt bother testing. misscarrige is heart breaking, but we will keep trying. baby dust to all especially those touched by loss
