My hubs and I have had a great evening!

I get home from work and errands around 3. It’s the hottest day of the year so he’s hanging out shirtless. We greet with kisses and pets for the fur babies. Relaxing for a smidge.

Well, then he goes and starts filling up the little medicine syringe we have. I’m thinking he’s going to feed our puppy some water because she likes to drink out of it, when he turns to me and goes, “what if I spray you with this?” I tell him to do it and he does, but gets very surprised by how quickly it squirted and with the force it did. 😂 He give the puppy some water and then starts squirting me again so I grab the condiment bottle I use to mix puppy formula, which has water in it, and start squirting him too. We get into an all out water war, soaking each other and the floor but we’re laughing so hard that he gets the hiccups! Plus, we feel cooler.

We finally strip and are hanging out in bed in our underwear on our bed. We cuddle the babies and talk about all sorts of things. He asks me what I want to do today because he doesn’t want to stay home. I tell him I actually wanted to thank him for supporting our family the last month or two while I tried to find work, so I wanted to take him out to dinner. Plus, celebrate that I got the job I did. We argue a little over who chooses and he tells me I can thank him another way and makes me chose dinner. We have some fun 😉 and I make the reservations and shower. We have an awesome dinner and a good talk on the way back. Now we’re going to bed and get to wake up next to each other in the morning. ❤️
