Hello Everyone! So i have had the mirena iud for a little over three years. So I decided to remove it since we wanted to try to have baby number 3. I went on May 21 to have it removed, that same day I started cramping and light bleeding and the next day as well. The third day May 23 I started bleeding heavy I did so for the following three days, I mean clots and I was even staining myself. In total since I removed it I was bleeding like for 8days. So my period was scheduled to come on June 20 and nothing then on June 22 I took a pregnancy test since I was two days late and it came out negative. Then on June 29 and again negative. So I was thinking maybe my body is getting used to not having the iud. So on July 5 in the morning I decided let me just check one more time and just get it out of my mind, since we both wanted for me to be expecting. To my surprise it came out positive, I took three test cause I couldn’t believe it since it had been a little over a month since I removed my iud. I went that same day to have blood work done and it was positive. We haven’t told any family members since I first want to go to the doctor and get check. Hopefully everything looks great, We are honestly so excited 😃
