Hey guys, I'm 16 and I recently figured out how to insert tampons during my last cycle. I didn't use them but I practiced getting them in and out.

Now I am on my period again and it's time to put them to use, as I'm swimming a bunch during this upcoming week or so.

However, I’m really nervous to start using them because, admittedly, I'm a bit of a hypochondriac and I can't help but just think about anything and everything that can go wrong.

Do any of you guys have any comforting words or advice? It would really help me right now.
