So I have PCOS and since I found out I was preggo my Dr has put me on metformin (750 er) once a day and progesterone suppositories (200mg) twice a day. After my 17 week visit my Dr said he wants to start to wean me off of both. This scares the crap out of me. First because progesterone helps prevent cervix incompetence in the 2nd trimester and second because metformin can keep me from getting gestational diabetes by keeping sugar regulated (although that's not why I'm taking it).

I'd like to know other mommies experience with coming off both or either meds and if anyone has experienced a loss or problems because you did. I just want to make sure I don't have another loss, especially this far along....
