Iud problems

Does anyone else feel like their cramps have gotten worse and more painful with an Iud? Also, has anyone ever complained about being able to feel it during intercourse? My boyfriend says he feels the strings sometimes and I'm not sure if he's exaggerating or if he can actually feel them.  And I've noticed that certain positions hurt more now then before. I have Skyla and have had it for almost 7 months and am thinking about getting it taken out.
