1) wait the time you are given. 
Now I've had 3 kids vaginally, and sex is always something we slow into. But after time it's the same. I always waited the 6 weeks given to heal. Heck I didn't really want to sooner. But no it is not different just may still be sore depending on how the birth went.

It might take some time for it to get back to normal, but eventually it should. For me it hurt for a while afterwards.
