I am at the beginning stages of divorcing a narcissist, (married 7 years) who has emotionally and verbally abused me and my child for years. In December 2017, he physically abused me for the first time in front of my son. I recently said ENOUGH and hired a lawyer and jumped off the ledge into the divorce uncertainty. It has been a wild and emotional ride thus far, but my lawyer is good and my support system is strong.

Anyway. This is only my second pay period being independent and trying to figure out my bills. I have been pretty stressed over it, but managing to cover everything thus far. This pay period, the mortgage was due and this bill cycle is the more expensive of my two checks for the month, so I was worried about things.

Today, when I was checking out at the grocery store, a man came out of nowhere and asked if I was a single mom. I explained I was going through a divorce and all that and HE PAID MY

ENTIRE GROCERY BILL, YOU GUYS. $241 worth of stuff and so now my budgeted $250 stays in my account TO SAVE.

I thanked him profusely and then went in the bathroom and ugly cried. God is good!!!!!!!! If you don't believe, then I hope you find joy in the act of kindness.
