Can someone please explain to me what a Pap Smear is? 🤷‍♀️
(Sounds like a sort of sweet, but I’m pretty sure if it’s getting mentioned in chats about genealogists then it’s not. 😂)

Those are the things you put your feet up on, and the pelvic exam is almost always included in your Pap smear too!

You Lay down on a bed/table and they take out these things to prop your feet up. They take some lube and a device which looks like this

They then stick that in your vagina and take samples like this

It feels like pressure and little cramps. They then take the sample and check for hpv cells and they also check for stds if you ask.
