Garmin vivosmart fitness tracker?

I'm in the market for a fitness tracker and came across the garmin vivismart. Most of the reviews I've read say the band itself is great but the mobile app is very poorly made and hard to work with. I was just wondering if anybody has tried this band and if it worked out for you? The main selling point for me is that the band is waterproof up to 50 meters so if anyone knows of another waterproof fitness band that works well please let me know😊

I own the vivosmart. I dont have any complaints with it. The issues i had with the app were all fixed when they updated it. I would suggest it.

I am sure I am way late on this but I have had the vivosmart since day one never issues with the app. I just have issues with the band as the pixels on the top 2 lines went out. Now my second one came from Raytech in Canada and they were known to send our subpar bands. So I have just sent that one out again today for multiple pixels out on 3 sides. They are waterproof I have swan in the lake, pool, and showered. But again I am getting again as I need it to track my sleep and fitness.

I have a garmin forerunner 15 and I love it. It keeps track of runs and walks and hikes as well as a daily step log.

My friends have the Fitbit, but they say it is so sensitive to movement and so not that accurate...like they'd be sitting, bouncing their leg and it would pick up the movements. So I went w the Jawbone Up24, which I loved the app for it and the convenience, but it was easily worn down to where it was broken within a year. I thought about the smart watches, but I don't want to be THAT connected... So now I have a Polar M400 watch which I absolutely LOVE. It has gps, tracks your activities and sleep. You can program how the information is out together. It tells you the different ways of varying intensities of activities and how much time each activity would require in order to achieve your 100%.  And, it is a whole lot harder to achieve 100%. And I have gone swimming and showered with it and it is still going really strong with a battery indicator, which goes for weeks without needing to recharge. So, I'd easily buy a Polar product again.

I am looking into the same thing.   Originally the new jawbone was water proof before it got realsed.  But it changed when I went to buy it.    It is now just listed at splash proof:(

I own a Fitbit Charge and love it! It's a really good fitness tracker, the app is really easy to use and pretty, plus you can sync it with many other apps as well. 
The only problem I have with it is that it's a little bulky, but if that doesn't bother you it's perfect.
