Contractions/Braxton Hicks

I have been having BHs/Contractions for the pass 3 days now. They have been terribly bad. Also along with them my feet and hands have been swollen. I am 28+5weeks today. Has anyone else went through this. Plus when did you deliver if you did? Or was their a medical reason this was happening to your body?

I told my high risk doctor. This dude said if they continue after 3hrs be concerned. My OB said if I have 6in an hour call her. Shes afraid of preterm labor. So am I.
