How did you announce pregnancy to your husband?

Looking for crafty new ways to tell him the good news. We have a year old daughter and just found out today we are expecting another baby!!!
I plan on dropping our daughter off at her Nana’s and taking him out on a date. I want to give him something short and sweet.

I sat him down and told him to close his eyes, stuck a pacifier in his mouth. He pulled it out and was confused Then he was like. " are-.. you serious? Oh my god babe!"

Uh this last time was a total shock and I threw the test at him 😂. The other two times I just told him he was going to be a daddy. I couldn’t wait to do anything crafty.

After six pregnancies and losses, I sort of ran out of ideas. I called him at work and asked if he could take me somewhere over his lunch break. He asked where and I said, “to get bloodwork”. He paused. I said, “Congratulations, you knocked me up!”😁.
He yelled, “ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!”. This was him looking at my tests when he came home to get me (his car was in the shop). Holding my rainbow baby now 😊.

We were on a trip and my husband was ticking me off that day, maybe I was sensitive, maybe he was on my case. I was sleep deprived and he was getting on my nerves and I said can you get off of our case?! Like were over here trying to love you and you just keep nagging us. While he was driving and he was like us?! And it clicked immediately. I took another test at the hotel to make it more real for him lol

Me & my husband just started TTC last month, and if I get a positive I’m going to take him to a restaurant and have them serve us desert & write on the plate in chocolate sauce “surprise we’re pregnant”and deliver it to our table. I also am going to wrap up a test & put it with a mug & a parenting book if got for him 😊

With our first daughter I sent him on a scavenger hunt when he got home from work. I sent our dog out to greet him with a card stuck to his collar that started the hunt. With our newest pregnancy he was in a different state for work over Fathers day. So I made a card with a bun on the front and an oven on the inside with the bun inside and it said , with love from the bun in mommys oven. He cried both times hahaha

he was out of town when I tested on business driving to a tiny town. called him on the phone with bad reception while he was in a dairy queen parking lot and I was sitting on the bathroom floor 🤷‍♀️ was too excited to wait for him to get home
