Cutting my dogs nails??

So I absolutely can not cut my pups nails. She won’t let me and they are super long. She doesn’t like me touching her paws to begin with, but she’ll still let me hold them. When I go to cut them I try and just clip the very tip, so I know I’m not cutting them too short, but she still yelps like I’m hurting her. Any ideas or tips??

Petsmart cuts them for $10. Most vets will do it complimentary when you go for your yearly vaccinations, or find a groomer you trust. Daily walks on concrete also trim them naturally so you don’t have to worry about it as often.

make sure you are clipping at an angle.

My dog wont let us either its mayhem. Yet when the groomer does it she says omg he was so good and just sat there! 🙄

Well, it could be the fact that you aren’t cutting them right. You have to introduce 
them used to cutting nails so they don’t feel that it’s a threat.
