Subchorionic hematoma and cramping

I’m 6-7 weeks pregnant and on Fourth of July evening I had some sudden cramping like when you have a bad stomach ache. I went to the bathroom and was spotting bright red blood, like when you’re ready to start your period. This continued the next day and OB recommended I go to the ER. I’m seeing a new doctor this pregnancy and since I haven’t been yet, they couldn’t get me in until July 30th. Nurse seemed to not be concerned about symptoms.

ER confirmed pregnancy. Said baby was measuring a week behind where I thought I was and had a heart rate of 103. Also said I had a hemorrhage behind embryo. Take it easy and follow up if it worsens.

The day after the bleeding seemed to decrease. The next day though I started bleeding pretty regularly. Cramping constantly as well. Basically like the first real day of your period. I’m going through about 3 pads a day.

Can anyone else share their experiences? I’m trying to stay calm and not be anxious since I won’t see OB for another 3 weeks. This is my 4th pregnancy, 4th baby. I had nothing like this with the others and I’m just so worried.
