Missed an entire period???

Question

Okay so the week before my period was due I had brown spotting on and off for a few days we’ll just to be on the safe side I took a test and of course negative 👎 (4 days before my expected period) my periods are usually on time and I just literally skipped out on an entire period. Has anyone experienced this? Is it normal?
