Is it weird if both me and my SO combine our last names and both take it? I’m pregnant and we aren’t married yet so we are trying to figure out what name to put on the birth certificate based on what we are going to be ourselves when we get married and for reasons I don’t want to just take his last name but we both want to mirror the same name it means a lot to both him and I and so we came up with both of us hyphenating our last names together and it made us happy so I’m just curious if this is weird to anyone and if anyone’s done it before (example.. my last name~his last name)
