first month charting scared to test.

this is my first month charting my bbt and I sure hope I did it right. I am 12 dpo and honestly I am scared to test. I am scared of a BFN again after 3 and a half years. Some days I wonder why I keep doing this to myself. Do you all think I should test or just wait for AF??
