IVF - INSURANCE APPROVED!

Clever Fox

Good News!

My insurance approved our

<a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a>

and ive been enrolled in the infertility program!

What can I expect, in detail, if you have the time to type it out?

All I know is Day 3 bloods- whatever that means, my husbands semen analysis, and when we're ready to start i take a bc pill and then shots, egg retrieval, etc.

I had my initial bloodwork done but what is day 3 bloodwork? What are they testing for? What if it's bad?

The doctor looked at my medical records and said im young and healthy and a perfect candidate, but this was even before my bloodwork?

I have one healthy child who is almost 7 but my tubes are now blocked, I had an ectopic, so now only one tube.

Thanks!!!

Also, is ICSI absolutely needed? The financial lady said that if my husband's sperm count and motility is fine then insurance won't cover ICSI and we'd have to pay an extra $2600. But what would be the need for it if his sperm was ok?
