Hey all hope all is going well with your little growing bumps or your new baby's toddlers . Was just wondering how long did you finish work before maternity leave starring did you have sick how did it work what happened

I worked as a dental assistant and was the only assistant in the practice. I left at 36 weeks pregnant and enjoyed my last few weeks of getting things ready and I was certain baby would come early. I was wrong, I wasn’t dilating at all! I was induced only because I was starting to show signs of preeclampsia at my 39 week appointment and delivered my son the day before his due date. So I was off work for a month before he came out! I would have waited a week or two if I could do it over.

I've been off work for a week already on sick leave. So I will remain off working until our baby boy is here

I'm going to have to be induced because I'm on blood thinners. I know I will be induced at 39 weeks, however that may change if i start showing signs of labor sooner. So I plan on working up until the day before my induction. So right now my induction will probably be Oct 5th, so I will work until Oct 4th. i will go home that night and pack for the hospital.

I have a c section sched Sept 28, plan on working all day on sept 27. I worked all day Friday with my son, had him Sunday morning.

With my last I was out at 34 weeks only because I worked with behaviors. And my doctors was worriedI could get hit in my stomach or pushed into. Wall. This pregnancy im at a diff job and Hope i can work until my due date unless i go early

I was planning to work about 30-35 weeks but unfortunately the stress of my job was really starting to impact me, so next week is my last week (27weeks when I’m done).

I plan on leaving at 37 weeks, but have already noticed it’s harder to do a full day or work an extra hour if needed, my body definitely feels the last hour and I’m not even that far along yet

With my first I worked until 39 weeks. My company offers 16 weeks full pay maternity leave from the date the baby is born plus full pay disability for any leave taken up until that date so I figured I might as well not worry and get pulled a week early!
