I have the Athena Cup size 2 and I can’t seem to get it to open once inserted. It seems to fit well and actually feels comfortable but then I feel it with my finger and I can tell it’s still folded.

I use the “U” shape to get it inside. I have tried twisting it, and it won’t even move.

Can someone help? I have to wait a few hours in between trying because my vaginal walls clench once it’s inside so removal is painful. : / I don’t feel consciously nervous when inserting it, so I’m not sure what’s going on...
