What cancels out BC pills?
And do you have to start over with your BC to have sex if you did take that medicine that canceled it out?

Answer

The only antibiotic that has shown to cancel out the pill is rifampin (Rifadin) told to me by my Dr and pharmacist.

Anything that’s an enzyme inducer. This includes rifampins (Super strong antibiotics- your more typical ones won’t have much of an effect), St. John’s wort which is used for depression, certain epilepsy meds, corticosteroids, and others. You can read your insert for a more comprehensive list.
