Birth control question
So, I’ve been on the pill for probably about a year, year and a half now. The past like two months I have been not too good about taking it on time, around an hour or two later. I have been using protection besides the pill so I’m not worried about that.
My birth control is said to take a week to be as effective as it can. I’ve always taken it to mean that it means the week I start a new pack, not if I have trouble remembering the first week, but the second week if I take it perfectly, I’m protected as much as it can.
Do I have a point? I know this is confusing but I’ll try to simple it down lol
If I start my new pack, and take the pill everyday for 7 days at the same exact time, I know I am protected as much as I can.
Do I still get the same effect if I were to be late on it a few days in the first week, but on the second week, I took it the same time everyday for the 7 days of it?
