Whether your monogamous or poly, do you have a relationship that is full D/s? How much control does your dom have over you / you have over your sub? How long did it take you to get there? Are there any of you who are in real a M/s relationship? 
D/s : Dominant and Submissive 
Light D/s: maybe only in the bedroom or at specific times, not all the time.
Heavy D/s: a 24/7 dynamic or close to one
M/s : Master and Slave
Top/bottom: casual kink relationship, no romance, D/s or M/s only during scenes.

I’ve been active in the lifestyle and local community for ~6 years. My SO and I are Mistress and submissive. He has been in the lifestyle since he was 18. We hope to be finished with contract negotiations soon and I can fully collar him as my slave. What I always stress to newbies is that it is a differently defined relationship.

Monogamous M/s relationship. I'm 19F and he's 21M. We're 24/7 Master/slave ...and Dom/sub? (it's hard for me to tell the difference between the two in my situation lol).  I'm naturally submissive and he's naturally dominant, and we went into the relationship knowing we were both into bdsm. So from the start it was naturally Dom/sub. I think it took a couple months for us to get into Master/slave. It was something new to me that he had done before so he introduced it to me as an option, and as I spent time looking into it myself and asking questions I decided to try it out :) At first it was casual. He didn't rush me or force me into the lifestyle, but eventually we started agreeing to rules (daily and life-rules) for me to follow as his slave. It probably took a month or so but eventually we became 24/7 Master/slave... sort of 24/7 at least. I always refer to him as Master or Owner, and his word is always law, as we put it. He mostly refers to me as slave, but still calls me his princess or "beautiful". The respect is still there, stronger than any "normal" relationship I've had before. So we do discuss things and if I'm not comfortable he does listen and act accordingly. Some of you might understand this but the trust is so incredibly strong in this dynamic (it should be at least) and so this full control he has is one I'm happy to give him. We're now about 9 months in to our relationship and it's been the greatest time of my life. :)

I’ve never been in a serious relationship but I’m very interested in trying maybe a light dom/sub thing. I’m too much of a switch to go full 24/7 tho XD tho M/s is definitely something I’d wanna try in the bedroom. Both being the M and having a mistress/master sounds amazing!!

Ours is heavy. He is the dom, always, and I am always submissive. It ranges from in the bedroom (24/7), to a lot of decisions made throughout the day. It’s a lovely balance that fits both of our needs.

We’re married and he’s usually Dominant in the bedroom but sometimes we switch.  Outside the bedroom we’re totally side by side and no one is Dominant or submissive.  Occasionally I’ll call him Sir or he’ll spank me playfully but we’re just teasing/flirting.  I love pain, both to give and receive.  My husband is learning to play along and he’s having a ball!  I had to introduce the idea to him and I’m so glad he has been receptive and very creative!  We’ll see where the future takes us
