light headed and heavy fluttery eyes

I suspect I suffer from some kind of insulin resistance. I will often get lightheaded, weak feeling, unbalanced and confused. But my eyelids will get heavy and start to flutter, like it's hard to keep them open. And I'm sure when this happens it looks like I'm on drugs or something. But is fluttering eyelids even a real symptom of low blood sugar? I keep looking up symptoms and I don't see it listed. Now I'm questioning of the eye flutters are in my head or not.
