Best convertible car seat?

We splurged and bought a Maxi Cosi Magellan and I was so excited! But the latch that allows you to adjust headrest height as baby gets taller doesn’t work!

Otherwise it was such a great seat and the fabric was awesome and it was so easy to install and use and so comfy!

I’m returning it and not exchanging it because I figure if that latch is broken others would break too. It’s supposed to work until they’re 10 and my LO I almost 1. I can’t expect something that was broken on arrival to not break in another seat, right?

So I did a ton of research and I’m so confused because all of them seem flawed and all of them have many bad reviews!

...except the Maxi Cosi Magellan!!! 😂😂😂
