Horrible parenting alert!

I am 25 weeks and my husband and I spent the day fishing, and floating the river with friends over the weekend. My our married friend brought her bother, wife, and 4-year-old daughter. This little girl is so naughty that my friend and her parents told the little girl that my husband was a police officer and would arrest her if she didn't behave (so horrible). My husband is not a police officer, but is is a former marine and looks serious. The whole thing was hurtful to him because he loves kids and the little girl was afraid of him. Let alone the fact that the parents have so little control over their kid that they resort to lying and coersion. We played with her since we were novel new people and enjoyed it, but it was so sad because she was afraid if my husband. These were educated well off people too.
