My Baby's testicles haven't dropped?!

I know this sounds soooo weird and honestly I'm dying of so much worry. My baby just turned 6 months on the 7th. So we had to go to his 6 months check up and for him to get his shots. The doctor came in and did all the usual but then he took a look at my baby's area. He said he was checking to see if his testicles had dropped. He said they should have dropped at this point and he didn't feel them. So he ordered for him to get an ultrasound. He said if they weren't down then they would have to "surgically" get them down. That is what my husband and I understood. I didn't want to ask again because I just was in shock. I didn't want to think of the worst. So we went to get the ultrasound done and said they would call us back today with the results. And This morning they called. They told us that they weren't where they were supposed to be so we have to go in Tuesday morning to talk about our options! Our options!?? I just can't even process this right now... I am trying to pretend that everything is okay but I am extremely worried and don't know what to expect!! I need someone to tell me if they have gone through this. What should I expect because I've never heard of this!! The doctor said that this happens to only 15% of boys. Any information would help ladies! Thank You! 💕
