Soap burning my V?

Question

I used soap to clean in the shower and when I got out both my V and butt holes had a itching burn not too bad but def uncomfortable. I haven’t been sexually active in quite a while and I feel like my ph may be off since going in the ocean not too long ago. It doesn’t burn when I pee and I don’t see any bumps. Does this sound like an STD or just irritation? Should I make an appt to see my OBGYN??

Sounds like irritation, Don't use soap on the opening of your vagina. just wash the labia. And maybe try a different kind of soap, one that isn't scented

Sounds like you need to use something else to wash with.  Regular soap is usually way too harsh for your lady parts.  Summers Eve is your friend.

You're not suppose to use soap to clean your vagina, it can throw off your pH balance. Also if it's scented or harsh it can cause irritation to the skin. If you're concerned and if it persists go to the doctor. Next time just use water to clean your vagina, they're self cleaning anyways.
