WHY is it grey and not black?

Had my first OB appt today. 4th pregnancy, 3rd baby. Why isn’t the sac solid black like everyone else’s? Why is the sac “grey”?? doctor said it’s “sound” traveling through. Does any else’s look like this? I’m 7w5d according to u/s

It’s probably just the quality of the machine that makes it look more gray compared to black. I’ve seen some pictures that have a more blue tint to them too so I think it just depends on the machine.

Is this abdominal? Did you make sure your bladder was full of so? I don’t really know if it has anything to do with it because I’m a FTM but maybe that has something to do with it?
