Trying to be patient

Needing some words of wisdom from those who’ve crossed the marriage and family bridge.

I’ve been with my boyfriend for about a year. We’ve talked about marriage and the future; lately I just find myself wanting to be engaged and married and have a baby! I know he has already bought the ring (about 3 months ago), and that it will come at some point but sometimes the patience is challenging!

Anyone on the other side who can shed some light?
