i’m 5’9”, 120 pounds, and definitely considered underweight. but the agency that represents me wants me this way. it’s been a long journey deciding to get healthy, and like many people in this industry, i suffer from body dysmorphia and an eating disorder. i’m almost appalled at the prospect of falling into the NORMAL weight range. im beginning to realize that a family is more important to me than looking good, and that i could STILL look good and not be underweight. my doctor told me on tuesday that it will be harder for me to conceive in the shape i’m in than it would be for someone who is overweight, even borderline obese. so i called my agency and quit. i’m just here to verbalize my desire to be HEALTHY not thin. and to raise children who can love themselves, no matter how their bodies look.
