Breast pump to hospital?

Do you need to bring your pump to the hospital? I'm trying to minimize what I pack but guess you would need it if baby doesn't latch...thoughts?

You do not need it. The hospital-grade ones work better anyway, plus you get a set of new, free tubing and shields to take home with you.

If you really fee like you will need to pump you can use theirs! One less thing to pack! Just remember the babies stomach is the size of a cherry! So they won't need a lot! ☺️☺️

I've never had to bring mine. The hospital usually supplies a pump if you need it but i don't think it's necessary. You'll be fine if you don't bring it and it's one less thing you have to pack.

Mine is a hospital grade rental and will be delivered the day she is born. I won't take it with me but I'll be bringing it home with us.

I wouldn't because the only thing you will get for the first few days is most likely to be colostrum.

Don't bother bringing it, they have them there and you'll already have so much crap you'll be bringing home, you won't want to add anything extra that you don't need.

No I won't be unless you can't feed baby because of problems then you can send someone to get it

If you feel more comfortable having your own you can bring it but the hospital provides you with one during your stay. They are very nice hospital grade pumps.
