Uterine window with first pregnancy??
My little girl is 9 months and I recently realized that I can look on the hospital’s patient portal to view all the notes the doctors entered throughout my labor/birth experience. After failure to descend due to my bone structure and my daughter’s increase in heart rate, they did an emergency c-section. I was completely out for the procedure.
Anyway, I am looking through the notes and it was stated that “A uterine window was noted.” After more research I’ve found that this is more common after a previous c-section due to scarring. So it doesn’t make sense that it was noted in my first pregnancy with no previous surgeries.
I’m upset they didn’t mention this to me at the hospital and worry what this means for another pregnancy. Has anyone experienced this?
