Stay at home wifes, Does your husband put guilt on you for him being the only one working?

If you stay at home and your husband is the only one working, does he throw it back in your face? Does he complain the burden is all on him?

He does on occasion, but to be honest it is usually when I have had a lazy week and the house is messy. Since I am not working I think that it is fair for him to expect me to clean the house...

No he doesn't but sometimes I put it on myself but then he always says that he enjoys seeing face the moment he comes home it makes his day better. & he'd rather me focus on school

I kept Trying to look for a job for the summer so I could help with finances and my boyfriend told me no. He says I should take it easy for the rest of my pregnancy. I appreciate it a lot.

Absolutely not. I'm a Sahm that dies work but even before I did that I never heard a thing negative. It's saving a bundle on childcare😂 I hope you aren't being treated poorly

My husband wanted me to be a sahm and never said anything about him being the one bringing home the baccon. A couple months ago he had an affair now suddenly his view point is its his money cause he is the one who works all week and I just "sit around the house all day". His whore poisoned his mind against me and now I can't get him to stop acting like he is god and I'm a pos. And I most def do not just sit around I take care of the house our farm all the animals cook clean pay the bills and take care of our one year old child who as toddlers do gets into everything and constantly makes messes.  
The most fucked up part is when we got together he was living off of me for months before he made me quit working but I never said shit about being the bread winner.

I have chronic illnesses. Fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis among other things... He knows I can't do a lot. I don't cook as much as I used to, nor do I clean as often as I so wish I could, but I do put all energy I DO have toward taking care of our son. I do all the shopping no matter how much it hurts. I do all the driving and other errands.. Doctors appointments included. I think it's all balanced really. Husband agrees, but admittedly he has (on extremely rare occasion... Only 3 quick instances out of the 5 years of marriage) given me a guilt trip... It was usually in the heat of an argument and when he was already in a bad mood/tired. (each time we were BOTH being assholes to each other to he fair...)

I think it's human nature to say things you don't mean to when you're upset.

My husband loves that I stay home with our child and loves that I can do that with our son who will be born in November. We don't have to risk putting our kids in the care of someone potentially dangerous or take him somewhere like a daycare where they might not care at all. He likes that when he's really exhausted I *can* fix him something (even if it's not every single day). As he says it, all the extra financial responsibility is worth it. He fights his mother and my family with that all the time because they all just like to think I'm lazy. *eye roll*

He knows i do so much for him while hes working.  He never has to think about cleaning or cooking and if anything else needs to be done, which is often he asks me to do it.  Its my job so i dont mind at all.

Who's decision was it for you to be a sahm? I dnt think its ok, if he makes you feel guilty, Your husband isn't supposed to ever make you feel bad or less than for staying at home with your children, keeping the house up, or doing what needs to be done from the home front. I would tell him how he makes you feel, and ask what the solution would be. These days it's more cost effective for one parent to stay home, rather than putting children in day care. I would put it all on paper, what it would cost if you weren't a stay at home mom, that way he can see it. I hope everything works out and you can come to some sort of understanding.
