Cleaning bottles?

I’m a first time mom due this November and I’m curious as to what is the best way to clean bottles? Do you clean them by hand? If so, do you use a special bottle cleaner or just dish soap (I use dawn on my dishes)? Do you use the dishwasher (I always do a quick wash of my dishes by hand then run them through the dishwasher)? Do you use a bottle sterilizer? Do you use a combo of these?? Boiling water? Lol I’m so lost here guys...

I wash by hand with dawn dish soap and a bottle brush, then use a sterilizer. The sterilizer isn’t needed, but it is really easy. Load everything up, add water, and turn it on.

I usually clean mine by hand, just because I don’t run the dishwasher that often. The bottles I use (brezza) are super easy to clean by hand anyways, even though I could put them in the dishwasher if I wanted to. I just use hot water and dawn dish soap.

When we travel I wash them by hand because I don’t trust the dishwasher soap that my mom or my MIL use. For our dishwasher we use a brand called Nature Clean. The pods do a great job cleaning with no residue, and they contain only non-toxic, safe ingredients for people and the environment. My favorite non-toxic dish soap is by Attitude, but Puracy makes a very good dish soap as well that’s a little cheaper so we usually buy that. At home when I use the dishwasher I make sure I give my bottles a quick rinse before putting them in, otherwise the milk tends to leave a film inside. If you decide to wash them by hand, get yourself a good bottle brush. My favorite is the Oxo tot bottle brush with a stand.

Don't make a very basic task complicated lol hot water and dish soap. Just like any other cup or dish in your home. If you have and use a dishwasher, you can pop them in there too if you want, but it's not needed. And there's no reason to sterilize a bottle every time you use it either.

I do not have a dishwasher, so I clean everything by hand.
 
I use regular dish soap and a bottle brush.  I then air dry them on a two layer bottle rack.  The first three months I would also boil them every week.
