Would you bring your 2 month old baby to a family reunion outside in the 90 degree weather?

Our in-laws are having a family reunion for my mother-in-law‘s mom’s side of the family and they told us we have to bring our baby and I don’t think I feel comfortable having him outside in the 90 degree heat. Just wondering what everyone else would do.

It would depend on the location. If its somewhere that AC is easily accessible, and there is the ability to have somewhere to put baby down for a quiet nap, yes.
And I HATE any family events, I’d look for any excuse to get out of them.

Maybe drop by to say hi? Don’t do it for long periods of time if you aren’t comfortable with it. Although babies that little don’t do much moving. Less moving is less heat generation. Their bodies deal with temperature differently than ours do. We feel as if it’s hotter than it is because we stand, walk, and move around. 
If you do decide to go, just make sure your baby is in something cool and comfortable. Find some shade to sit in when you get there, and don’t hold your baby the entire time or let anyone else do so either. Your body heat may just make it that much more hot. Bring a cool quilt or blanket with you guys (not a fuzzy one). If your baby sleeps most of the time you are there you could always lay the blanket out and lay them down on the blanket in the shade and let them stretch out a bit to nap. 
If it’s actually just 90 degrees or just below it shouldn’t be too big of an issue. Just be cautious. If you have to take baby and yourself out to the car every now and then and run the AC for a bit.

I've had 3 babies and I live in the south. they've been in the heat a lot from the beginning. stay in the shade. make sure you nurse often (or give bottles if that's what you're doing). if you don't want to go don't go. but if you want to go do it. I had a newborn last summer and I took my other two girls to the pool in 95-105 degree heat several times a week. we sat in the shade, brought plenty of water, nursed often, and left when the baby got fussy.

Knew of a baby whose parents would walk her around in the heat (bc they had no car and wanted to show her off) and she got very sick. I wouldn't put my baby in one extreme or the other if I could help it. Unless you guys can chill inside with the AC 🤷

Texan here. You should be okay but limit how long you’re there. Make sure baby has breathable fabrics, plenty of fluids and shade Bc you can’t put sunblock on yet. I would try and stay outside for no more than one hour. Make it clear that it’s for baby’s safety that you need to leave after your brief appearance. So if people want photos have them do it when you arrive not as you try to get going.

It depends if there's somewhere you can go inside to get some A/C and if there isn't anywhere than I wouldn't recommend going.

I did it..... I mean I had to take him out to 105 degree heat because of his doctors appointment.... and my SO had a work picnic ‘party’.. so we went it was around 101-103. It’s Las Vegas. We can’t escape the heat
