Brown discharge on bc?

Okay so I’ve been on birth control for almost 3 months and it’s stopped me from having periods about 2 months ago. These past couple days I’ve been having this brownish discharge and I was just wondering if it’s just a cause from the bc. Does anyone know?

I’ve had the same thing, basically the same situation. And I’ve had brown discharge/spotting, my doctor said that this is just because since my body is used to having a period it wants to bleed but the BC is stopping that. Bodies are weird, don’t freak out. It’s just annoying.

Sounds like breakthrough bleeding. It happens on birth control and can be anywhere from a “period” to what looks like old blood discharge.
